XiNE Information

Some users were emailing us asking about what XiNE is. This blog post is for those people. XiNE stands for Xi (business) Network Enhancements. From the name you can tell its networking. We are making a complete program for network info and enhancements. By looking at the picture below, you can get a preview on whats to come in the near future.

So, lets go over the categories.

Home - You will get a nice warm welcome like in other apps such as MobiXML or MobiFiles. And some info such as new features and stuff like that.

File Server - We are going to make a mini file server run inside the program. We want something like HFS Server, but we'll get something up and working.

Network Activity - Get a quick graph and percentages/text of speeds and check for unusual activity. A plan is to have it email a network admin if the downloads are at a high percentage for more than 5 minutes.

Domain Information - Here you will find users, computers, server names, logged on users, all that good stuff.

With XiNE we want to make an advanced network program with features only available in high end software, until now. As far as I can tell, I haven't seen an application with these kinds of functions, so it can be a first. It will take a long time to get everything in line and working, but it will be finished someday...

And, even more good news! Uses the Mobi interface on .Net 2 like 'Files and 'XML. We want new software to not be limited to older computer systems. And, it opens the market a bit more.

Well, decided that I need to post about updates, since we have some. The websites been dead for a few weeks, but behind the scenes we are making new Metro Windows 8 applications to end up early on the store.

XiNE is awesome. We have tons of details for this, but I need to go, so they are to be up soon!
